Recently people keep asking me, "Isn't on-chain data the most accurate?" Actually, node synchronization has delays, RPC caching, indexer glitches... the "real-time" blocks you see might be snapshots from a few minutes ago.



It's a bit like watching a live stream but also a recording — the picture is moving, but the comments have already finished arguing for a round.

Anyway, now when I check critical status, I switch to a couple more nodes and double-check the timestamps. That's it for now. After all, the chain doesn't lie, but the middleware feeding you data doesn't have that awareness.

(And regarding the recent wave of compliance news, friends of mine who do OTC business have started hesitating about whether to "wait and see" — the sentiment transmission on-chain is that USDT small-value transfers have increased, which is quite obvious.)
