ME News reports that on July 1 (UTC+8), crypto wallet Phantom announced that it has hired three core members from the Ventuals team, Alvin Hsia, Emily Hsia, and Aris Samad, to join its trading and data department.
Ventuals was a decentralized perpetual contract trading platform built on Hyperliquid, focusing on pre-market valuation trading of private companies. Before shutting down in mid-June this year, it had processed over $650 million in trading volume.
Phantom CEO Brandon Millman stated that over the past year, Phantom has become the largest distribution partner in the Hyperliquid ecosystem, and open markets and perpetual contracts are its current focus areas.
The introduction of the Ventuals founding team, which possesses deep experience in open market development, aims to further accelerate Phantom's product expansion in native derivatives trading and related infrastructure. (Source: ChainCatcher)
