Odaily Planet Daily News: The Massachusetts Attorney General has been granted court approval to file an amended complaint with the prediction market platform Kalshi, adding new allegations that Kalshi targets users under 21 through social media and marketing on university campuses and has not taken effective measures to stop them from using the platform. Kalshi allows people aged 18 and older to create accounts and place bets on sporting events. The case began in September 2025, when state authorities accused Kalshi of violating state law by offering sports betting. Previously, the CFTC filed a submission in Massachusetts arguing that it has exclusive jurisdiction over prediction markets. CFTC Chairman Michael Selig said that Congress has granted CFTC the sole authority to regulate commodity derivatives markets. Kalshi has not yet responded to a request for comment. (Cointelegraph)
