[ME AI] News: Helix Infrastructure Partners, an AI infrastructure company backed by private equity giant KKR, has officially entered the AI data center investment track, aiming to accelerate the provision of customized computing facilities for hyperscale cloud providers by acquiring existing data center developers. Helix is led by former Amazon Web Services executive Adam Selipsky and has received industrial capital support from NVIDIA and others, targeting the rapid acquisition of mature assets rather than building data centers from scratch amid sustained high demand for AI computing power. It is reported that the company is evaluating the acquisition of data center enterprises that focus on developing customized facilities for large cloud clients to alleviate the current "data center supply bottleneck" in the market and speed up the deployment of AI infrastructure. Analysts point out that under the dual constraints of exploding AI computing demand and tight power resources, private capital is accelerating its integration of data center assets, driving AI infrastructure from a development-driven to an M&A-driven transformation.
