Lido submits proposal to participate in rsETH coordinated rescue plan

ME News, April 24 (UTC+8): Lido stated that it has submitted a proposal to the Research Forum to participate in an rsETH collaborative rescue plan led by Aave. The plan originated from this week’s Kelp rsETH LayerZero cross-chain bridge attack event. According to the proposal, it is planned to authorize a one-time allocation of up to 2,500 stETH, inject it into a rescue mechanism specifically set up for this purpose, and carry out the action only as part of an overall recovery plan that can fully cover the rsETH shortfall, to reduce spillover impacts on the DeFi ecosystem and promote the orderly disposition of affected users.
