ME News reports, on May 21 (UTC+8), Nvidia (NVDA.O) released its earnings after the US stock market closed on Wednesday. Its fiscal year 2027 Q1 revenue was $81.6 billion, compared to market expectations of $78.67B; data center business revenue was $75.2 billion, compared to market expectations of $72.8 billion. Nvidia also announced an $80 billion stock buyback program and will raise the quarterly cash dividend from $0.01 per share to $0.25 per share. In addition, Nvidia's data center spending (the main source of company revenue) has not shown signs of slowing down. Nvidia expects second-quarter revenue to be $91 billion (plus or minus 2%), compared to a median market expectation of $86.79B, although the highest forecast once reached $96 billion.
