Zcash's new nonprofit organization Sovright launches the Argos wallet recovery tool, helping early users recover funds in shielded addresses that became inaccessible after the old version of ZEC Wallet Lite ceased maintenance in 2022. Argos is aimed at users who still have old wallet seed phrases but cannot recover their funds. The number of affected addresses has not yet been confirmed, but the amount of funds involved is considered significant, primarily affecting early and long-term Zcash supporters.
