According to Foresight News, Argot Collective and the Ethereum Foundation have completed the final disbursement of a 5-year grant agreement today, valued at 4.938 stETH. Argot Collective, founded by approximately 25 former developers and researchers from the Ethereum Foundation, focuses on long-term maintenance of Ethereum's core infrastructure, particularly the Solidity compiler and related programming language toolchains. The grant agreement was signed in July 2025, with the foundation providing initial operating capital for 5 years in the form of ETH or stETH, featuring a gradual unlocking mechanism to ensure sustainable operations while encouraging diversified investment.
