According to Odaily, Apollo Chief Economist Torsten Slok has warned that major AI companies are issuing approximately $700 billion in bonds to fund infrastructure expansion, creating a significant crowding-out effect on U.S. Treasuries and other credit markets. Slok stated that the continued growth of AI infrastructure debt could reshape capital allocation in bond markets and further pressure demand for Treasuries amid broader liquidity concerns in credit markets.
