Evening of June 30, 2026 (price references valid only for that day)
Market tone: Slightly bearish, 58900 broken, but not yet confirmed with a close. Any bounce before 60000 is recovered lacks quality.
BTC key level: 58900
BTC daily bull-bear line: 62700
Upper resistance: 59400, 60000, 60800
Lower support: 58900, 58200, 56900
The evening session is a bit bearish. That move below 59000, what's most frightening isn't the price itself, but the fact that positions were still being added as it dropped. Prices going down while positions aren't being reduced shows shorts aren't just taking a shot and running; they're continuing to test the support below.
But I don't want to call it a breakdown yet, because the 58900 level still needs confirmation from the close. If it can't recover on the 1-hour and 4-hour closes, shorts will have held below 59000, and then the 58000 area will be retested.
On the other hand, for bulls to let the market catch its breath, a simple bounce won't cut it. They need at least to reclaim 59400 first, then look at 60000. If 60000 isn't reclaimed, this kind of bounce is likely just trapped capital and covering funds stirring things up, not real buying power coming back. As mentioned in this morning's analysis, every time it bounces to resistance, it's just short-term cost holders trying to break even, and their exit selling creates selling pressure—that's why each test of resistance gets knocked down.
The group should watch 58900 tonight. If it doesn't recover, the market remains bearish; if it does recover, then see if 59400 and 60000 can be taken next. The most tricky part now isn't the direction, but the market repeatedly using a single spike to trap people. If you entered a short this morning, you can move your stop loss and continue holding. I've said before: don't try to pick exact entries. Today near 60030, our aggressive entry was 60100, a difference of 70 points. But if you reflect, whenever you hold a losing position, it's always by thousands of points, yet you hesitate over a few tens of points when entering. How many of you are still making this mistake?
