ME News message, April 24 (UTC+8), OpenAI announced on April 24, 2026 that it is expanding its physical infrastructure plan, aiming to achieve 30 gigawatts (GW) of AI computing capacity by 2030 to meet the growing global demand for accelerated intelligent systems. Previously, in January 2025, the company promised to generate 10GW of computing capacity and has identified over 8GW of that amount.
