Wu learned that Nasdaq-listed Ethereum treasury company Sharplink (Nasdaq: SBET) announced the purchase of 10,000 ETH at an average price of approximately $1,611, bringing its total ETH holdings to 886,725 as of June 28, 2026. The company also repurchased 2,132,773 common shares in the open market at an average repurchase price of $4.69 per share; bringing the cumulative repurchases to 4,071,223 shares since the initiation of the repurchase program in August 2025. Sharplink also stated that it raised $75 million in a registered direct offering of common shares and warrants last week, with the capital allocation target being to increase ETH exposure per share.
