ME News reports that on April 24 (UTC+8), Lido stated it has submitted a proposal on the Research Forum to participate in the rsETH coordinated bailout plan led by Aave. The plan stems from this week's Kelp rsETH LayerZero cross-chain bridge attack incident. According to the proposal, it intends to authorize a one-time transfer of up to 2,500 stETH into a specially established bailout mechanism, and will only be executed as part of a holistic recovery plan that can fully cover the rsETH shortfall, to reduce spillover effects on the DeFi ecosystem and facilitate orderly resolution for affected users.
