1000U want to roll to 10kU? Most people don’t lose to the market, they die in the first week $ETH
I've seen too many people, as soon as they make 1000U into 1200U they start to get cocky, opening bigger and bigger positions, trying to double it in one trade. Then one trade sends them back to square one, and they keep adding money, keep losing
The real way to slowly grow 1000U comes down to two words: discipline
With a small capital like 1000U, you must control your position size. In the early stage, a single trade of 300–500U is enough, accounting for 30%–50% of total capital. Before your account grows, never go heavy, and never go all in—one mistake and you can easily give back all the profits you made before $TAC
Don’t trade too often either. One or two trades a day is enough; if there’s no particularly solid opportunity, just wait. Trading less doesn’t mean earning less—in fact, it often helps preserve profits. Set aside one day per week with no trading at all to let your state of mind and strategy take a breather
Stop-loss must be set in advance. It’s best to limit a single loss to within 5% of your principal. For example, with a 300U position, losing around 15U should trigger the stop-loss. Once profits start running, remember to trail the stop-loss upward—lock in some profit first, then consider holding further
At different stages of the account, the approach should also adjust. Before growing 1000U to 3000U, focus on short-term profits of 20–50 points to thicken the account. Once the capital builds up, reserve a portion of the position to go for big moves of 100+ points—the rhythm will be much more comfortable $SPCX
Another thing many people can’t do: when making money, be willing to take profits off the table. Every time the account doubles, take out 30% of the profits and put them into stablecoins or a cold wallet. That way, even if your performance later turns bad, at least the money you’ve earned truly belongs to you
Finally, time. Stop thinking about doubling in a day every day. Set a goal to reach 3000U in 30 days, 5000U or even 8000U in 60 days—this kind of pace is actually easier to achieve
The market offers opportunities every day. What truly determines whether an account can keep moving upward is always execution. The simpler the rules, the longer you stick to them, and the smoother the equity curve tends to be
