ME News, April 24 (UTC+8), the U.S. Treasury Department's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) has placed Cambodian Senator Kok An on its sanctions list, stating that he controls multiple "scam compounds" and has also sanctioned 28 individuals and entities in his network. The related scams used fake investment platforms, luring victims through emotional relationships to transfer crypto assets and promising high returns, causing millions of dollars in losses to U.S. victims.
