Iran Central Bank: The first toll for the Strait of Hormuz has been credited in the form of "cash foreign exchange".

ME News: On April 24 (UTC+8), the Central Bank of Iran confirmed that the first toll collected from ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz has been credited in the form of "cash foreign exchange." Earlier, there were reports that Iran was collecting Strait of Hormuz tolls in the form of "cryptocurrency." Earlier that day, Iran’s Deputy Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, Haji Babaei, stated that Iran has received the first Strait of Hormuz toll, which has been deposited into the central bank’s account.
