What trading truly teaches people is never how to predict the market, but how to survive in a world full of uncertainty. It doesn’t train your ability to make money; it builds an entire cognitive system: replacing certainty with probability, replacing risk-taking with risk management, replacing emotions with rules, replacing impulsiveness with compounding, and replacing stubbornness with continuous adjustment. Once a person has truly grasped this cognitive framework, even after stepping away from the trading market, these abilities will transfer to investing, entrepreneurship, career growth, and life decisions. Therefore, those who are truly “enlightened” may not necessarily never lose money, but it is hard for them to return to a life state where they make decisions purely based on luck, emotions, and impulsiveness.
