Many people who make a lot of money owe it not only to their abilities but also to the times, opportunities, and luck. Truly mature people acknowledge the existence of luck rather than attributing all success to themselves, because the greatest risk often comes from blind confidence after success. The more clear-headed a person is, the more they realize the boundaries of their own abilities, and the more they remain in awe of risk and uncertainty. Once material needs are gradually satisfied, the real problem people face is no longer how to make money, but how to find lasting meaning in life, long-term goals, and inner order. Wealth can solve survival problems, but it cannot automatically solve existential ones; often, what people truly need is not more satisfaction of desires, but a direction in life worth long-term investment and belief.
