ME News, June 29 (UTC+8), Bitcoin miner and data center operator Hive Digital Technologies announced that it will raise $100 million by issuing zero-coupon exchangeable senior notes due in 2031 to further expand its compute infrastructure. In addition, the company has signed a non-binding letter of intent (LOI) with a Swedish sovereign technology enterprise with an investment-grade credit rating, with plans to lease approximately 30MW of computing power resources from its data centers for a term of up to 10 years. Under the agreement, Hive will deploy about 25MW of IT computing capacity and plans to use up to 10,000 Nvidia GB300 GPUs; however, the LOI still needs further negotiations and the final formal agreement must be signed.
