Abstract generation in progress
CoinWorld News: Velvet's price has surged over 300% in the past three days, reaching an all-time high of over $2. This surge is attributed to the protocol migrating its liquidity on the Base network to Aerodrome Finance and expanding the synthetic IPO trading market. Velvet stated that all protocol-owned liquidity has been migrated to Aerodrome Finance, making it the sole liquidity venue. This move concentrates trading depth in a single market, reducing slippage and tightening spreads. At the same time, Velvet launched a synthetic market offering tokenized exposure to private companies including SpaceX, attracting speculative traders and driving the token price from approximately $0.39 on June 26 to around $2.15 on June 29. Although the price has pulled back to $1.66, the token remains trading above the key 61.8% Fibonacci retracement level of $1.48. Losing this support could expose the next retracement levels at $1.27 and $1.06.

Velvet is playing the narrative of real-world asset tokenization, with private equity on-chain + liquidity optimization as dual drivers. Short-term speculative sentiment is heavy; long-term depends on whether synthetic IPOs can truly navigate compliance and settlement.

The concept of synthetic IPO is quite interesting; even SpaceX can be speculated on.

After a 300% rally, it pulled back to 1.66, the Fibonacci level held, but whether Aerodrome's liquidity migration can continue to drain the Base ecosystem remains to be seen.
