Their coach, Carlo Ancelotti uses a 4-2-4 shape that works well when they need to score. Vinicius Junior has scored four goals in three matches. Is in the running for the Golden Boot. The rest of the team including Matheus Cunha, Lucas Paqueta and Casemiro makes Brazil very strong. Neymar played in the Scotland game. Japan has never won a World Cup knockout match, which's 0-4. This team wants to change that.
The key to the game is whether Japans defense can stop Vinicius Juniors runs. Their captain, Ko Itakura might not play, which makes their defense weaker. Brazil will try to use that weakness.
The odds are Brazil -145 to win, Japan +420 and a draw +280. A good bet is that both teams will score. The over 2.5 goals market also looks good since both teams scored a lot of goals in the group stage.
