Coin World News, Loopring announced the closure of its decentralized exchange (DEX), which once had a market cap of over $5 billion at its peak. The team stated that the new zkEVM technology has made its architecture obsolete, marking the end of one of the earliest Layer 2 success stories in the crypto industry. Currently, the $LRC trading price has fallen 99% from its all-time high, with a market cap of only $17 million.
