ME News, April 23 (UTC+8), according to Beating Monitoring, OpenAI and Microsoft issued a joint statement on LinkedIn on April 23 under the names of both CISO offices, announcing deeper cybersecurity cooperation. OpenAI provides Microsoft with its strongest cybersecurity model through the "Trusted Access for Cyber" program, while Microsoft deploys a cybersecurity team to help protect OpenAI's models and infrastructure. The statement emphasizes that "the two sides have cooperated for many years and are continuing to build on this foundation." The statement comes amid a recent public rift in the relationship between the two companies. An internal OpenAI memo disclosed by CNBC on April 13 shows that Chief Revenue Officer Denise Dresser told all employees, "Microsoft has limited our ability to reach customers where they are, and for many enterprises, that place is Bedrock," and praised the customer demand brought by cooperation with Amazon as "staggering." The memo also alleged that Anthropic's $30 billion annualized revenue was inflated by approximately $8 billion, claiming that Anthropic recognizes revenue from its split with Amazon and Google on a gross basis, while OpenAI recognizes revenue from its split with Microsoft on a net basis. Anthropic responded that gross revenue recognition complies with GAAP. (Source: BlockBeats)
