ME News reports that on May 20 (UTC+8), Trump Mobile was exposed to a user data breach involving personal information such as customer email addresses and mailing addresses, with the relevant data still accessible on the internet. YouTube creators Coffeezilla and penguinz0 stated that after ordering the Trump Gold T1 phone, they received a warning from security researchers and discovered that their personal information had appeared in the leaked dataset. Coffeezilla said the leak covered almost all basic identity information, excluding only credit card numbers, and warned users not to place orders on this platform. The two said the leaked data is suspected to have originated from a publicly accessible system, and as of now, no official response or fix has been received from Trump Mobile, with the issue still unresolved. Based on the order numbers in the leaked data, the actual number of pre-orders is estimated to be around 30k units, far below the previously market-expected pre-sale volume of approximately 590k. Analysts believe this incident further raises external doubts about Trump Mobile's product delivery and basic security capabilities. (Source: ODAILY)
