Three steps for selecting coins, none can be omitted.
First, only look at coins that have shown abnormal volume in the last three days. Don't even glance at coins with no volume. Volume is the footprint of money—when trading volume suddenly surges to more than double the normal level, it means real money is pouring in.
Second, there must be a story to tell. AI, Meme, GameFi, RWA… there has to be a narrative that gets people excited. Coins without a story won't attract followers when they pump, and if you jump in, you'll be the last bag holder.
Third, wait for a pullback. Never chase after a sharp rally. Patiently wait for it to come back down, hit a key support without breaking, and see volume shrink to half of the previous level—that's the only entry signal in my book. All the big altcoin gains I've made over the years came from sitting and waiting, not from chasing.

How you position your capital is the key to survival.
First, use 10% of your capital to "knock on the door."
If it's right and the floating profit exceeds 10%, add another 10%; if it's wrong and the loss hits 5%, exit immediately—no holding, no hesitation.
Take profit in batches: sell half when it's up 30%, sell another half when it's up 50%, and set a trailing stop-loss at breakeven for the remainder—let the profits run.

Let me give you a real battlefield snapshot.
Last month, I spotted a coin that had been consolidating on the daily chart for nearly two weeks. Suddenly, one day, it surged with massive volume and formed a big bullish candle. I didn't move. I waited three full days for it to pull back to support, with volume shrinking to half of what it was during the breakout—
I entered with 10% of my capital, with a stop-loss set at 4%. After it rose 20%, I added another 10% position. When it climbed 45%, I sold half, then moved the stop-loss up for the remaining position.
From that single trade, my principal more than doubled.
