ME News, April 23 (UTC+8): Amid diplomatic difficulties and a lack of trust in negotiations, Iran has formulated a list of targets for responding to potential military actions by the United States and its allies, based on the principles of "proportional response" and "offensive deterrence." The list includes multiple response options: If Iranian power plants are attacked, missiles and drones will be used to strike power facilities in Israel and its allies; if oil and gas facilities are targeted, retaliatory strikes will be carried out against oil and gas facilities in Israel and its allies, with the goal of reducing global daily oil production by 25 million barrels; if political or military leaders are assassinated, IT and AI centers in the relevant countries will be targeted; if territorial sovereignty is violated, large-scale attacks on aircraft carriers and helicopters will be launched; if maritime blockades escalate, the Bab el-Mandeb Strait and the Strait of Hormuz will be blocked; if the U.S. military invades Iran, Iran will coordinate with local armed forces and civilians for ground counterattacks, and may even strike U.S. interests in other regions.
