Coin World News: On the 28th, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said in a social media post that early that morning Ukrainian forces carried out remote strikes against two oil refineries inside Russia.

Zelensky said that Ukrainian forces attacked the Slavyansky oil refinery in the Krasnodar Krai, which is about 300 kilometers from the front line. Ukrainian forces also launched a strike on an oil refinery in Yaroslavl Oblast, which was targeted by Ukrainian forces in May this year. He said Ukrainian forces will continue their operations, “to weaken Russia’s ability to wage war.”

Zelensky also reposted videos showing the attacks on the two refineries. The footage shows the refineries with fires raging and thick smoke rolling in.
