ME News message: On April 23 (UTC+8), Cardano development company Input Output submitted nine development proposals for 2026, asking the community for a total of $46.8 million, which is about half less than last year’s $97.5 million. The related proposals focus on supporting the Leios consensus upgrade and the Pogun system. Leios plans to increase Cardano’s throughput to over 1,000 transactions per second, while Pogun aims to introduce Bitcoin DeFi to Cardano. This vote is participated in by about 1,000 DReps and will run until May 24. (Source: MLion)
