$PI Running a Pi node is nothing more than pure market profit-seeking—just like Bitcoin mining: when it’s profitable you start, when it’s loss-making you shut it down. That’s all.

No one is doing it for “Lao Si” or for the project out of selfless dedication. Everyone runs a node because they’re aiming for rewards and privileges.

Those so-called “old pioneers,” including Youlong, are nothing but self-satisfaction. If they can keep running a node, it only means they can currently cover the costs and still have a profit—not that they have a grand vision or faith.

You have no right to morally pressure others. If you can’t bear it and have to shut it down, that’s just normal risk control—don’t dress up profit-seeking as lofty “sentiment,” and don’t look down on others to lecture them.
