$BTC Ripple CEO Garlinghouse is bullish on Bitcoin but criticizes Strategy's leverage. On June 26, according to CNBC's "Squawk on the Street" report, Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse stated that he remains bullish on Bitcoin, positioning it as a long-term digital store of value. He compared Bitcoin's efficiency to that of physical gold transfers, noting that transferring $300 billion in gold would take years and billions of dollars, while the same value in Bitcoin can be transferred much faster. Garlinghouse criticized Strategy's leveraged financing approach, arguing that its reliance on leverage amplifies losses when the crypto market declines. He said that Strategy's focus on financial engineering rather than practicality harms the overall market.
