ME News message: On May 20 (UTC+8), the U.S. Central Command stated that U.S. forces are continuing to carry out a maritime blockade operation against Iran. A U.S. Marine Corps AH-1Z "Viper" attack helicopter patrolled regional waters that day and monitored a commercial vessel. The Central Command said that as of May 20, U.S. forces have forced 90 ships to change course and "paralyzed" 4 ships to ensure all parties comply with the blockade measures.
