$73 SOL - Are you buying the dip or running away?
From 260 to 73 in two months, a drop of 72%. Just when you thought it was dead, it bounced from 62 to 73 in three days with a surge in volume. Is this rebound a desperate counterattack or a last gasp?
First thing: SOL dropped 72%, but the ecosystem is still growing like crazy
Sounds like the project is about to collapse? But look at the data:
RWA broke $3B, an all-time high, accounting for 97% of on-chain tokenized stock trading volume
Stablecoin supply at $16.4 billion
Cumulative transaction volume exceeded 100 billion
MoneyGram officially joined Solana as a validator node, promoting stablecoin cross-border payments
Solana became an official sponsor of WSOP (World Series of Poker), supporting direct crypto participation with zero fees
Second thing: SOL's ETF is flowing out, but whales are buying
Spot SOL ETF recently had a small net outflow of $3.94 million
But look at the chain:
Massive buy orders appeared near $62.8
Exchange SOL balances continue to decrease
Staking rate remains high, no one is selling
Short-term capital is fleeing, long-term capital is accumulating.
Third thing: $73 - is it the ceiling or the starting line?
Looking at the K-line, currently in a technical rebound repair phase:
Strong rebound from $62.8, standing above EMA55 (approx. $71.4)
MACD histogram converging upward, RSI recovering from oversold to neutral-bullish
Currently testing the key resistance zone of $74-75
Fourth thing: BTC is teetering at 60K, why should SOL be immune?
BTC is now at $60,200, barely holding 60K.
Fear & Greed Index at 17, extreme fear.
Macro environment: rising expectations of Fed rate hikes, tension in the Middle East, all risk assets getting hit.
But note one detail:
During the three days SOL bounced from $62 to $73, BTC was just sideways.
SOL is breaking away from BTC's gravity.
Ecosystem news driving > macro sentiment suppressing.
If BTC holds 60K, once SOL breaks 75 - huge upside potential.
If BTC breaks below 59K, SOL may retrace to 65 or even 62.
Bull vs Bear - you decide
On one side (bulls tell their story):
RWA broke $60k, stablecoins $16.4 billion, 100 billion transactions - ecosystem booming
MoneyGram + WSOP go live, payment scenarios opening up
Strong rebound of 16% from $62.8, standing above EMA55
Exchange SOL balances decreasing, staking rate high, no one selling
On the other side (bears tell the truth):
From 260 down to 73, down 72%, trend still down
ETF small outflow, institutions cautious short-term
Fear & Greed at 17, BTC on the brink at 60K
75 failed three times, fourth time? Uncertain
Key levels:
Upper resistance: 74-75 (first life-or-death barrier) → 76-80 → 85-90
Lower support: 70 (psychological level + EMA55) → 68-69 → 65 → 62.8 (rebound starting point, break and start over)
Short-term traders:
Already holding: Take half profit at 74-75, add back after breakout and consolidation.
Want to chase: Wait for a pullback to 70-71, enter after seeing a 1-hour bullish engulfing candle.
Stop loss: 68.5 (exit if broken).
Target: Take half at 75, look for 78-80 after breakout.
Swing traders:
Scale in: Place partial orders at 70, 68, 65, total position controlled at 10-15%.
Stop loss: Clear position if 62.5 breaks.
Target: First look at 80-85, then 100+.
Long-term believers:
Set DCA blindly at 60-65.
Core logic: RWA + payments + high-performance narrative, not a meme, the real deal.
But total position no more than 20%, don't gamble.
Risk control essentials:
Don't all-in. Keep cash to wait for BTC's direction.
Watch BTC closely. If 60K breaks, SOL exits first.
When SOL dropped from 260, everyone said:
"I'll buy when it hits 100."
When it actually hit 100, no one bought.
"I'll definitely buy the dip at 80."
When it hit 62, you sold at a loss.
The cruelest truth in this market is:
The "perfect price" you're waiting for will never come.
And even if it does, you won't dare to buy.
$73 SOL - 72% cheaper than the all-time high.
RWA booming, stablecoins booming, 100 billion transactions already executed.
Do you think it will drop to 40?
Or do you think - this is SOL at the end of 2023, where everyone was cursing, and only whales were laughing?
I don't know.
But I know one thing:
Every crash is a redistribution of wealth.
Some panic-sell at a loss, while others quietly count their money.
