From 4000U to 100kU, what truly changed the outcome wasn't technique—it was execution.

Last year, a friend came to me with 4000U. To be honest, even he didn’t have much confidence in the small amount in his account at the time.

A year later, he firmly stood at six figures. There was no miracle in between—only three disciplines he stuck to until they became instinct. $RIVER

In choppy markets, he stayed mostly in cash. Others made five trades a day; he made one trade every five days.

I asked him if his hands itched. He said they did, but he held back. $LAB

He only entered when a key level was broken or moving averages were aligned—first testing the waters with 10% of his total capital, then adding in batches if it worked.

He said opportunities that come from patient waiting really have a different success rate.

He used to love averaging down too—buying more when price dropped, only to dig deeper and panic more.

Later, he set a hard rule: cut any position unconditionally if it’s floating 3% in the red;

only add to winning positions if the profit exceeds 5%.

Let profits run, cut losses short—everyone has heard that, but he actually did it. #SpaceX将纳入彭博全球大盘指数

He also never calls the top or catches the bottom. In an uptrend, he only looks for pullback entries to go long; in a downtrend, he waits for bounces to go short.

Once I asked him, how do you know this isn’t the top? He smiled and said, I don’t, but the trend does. The trend is your friend—no need to argue with a friend.

Over that year, the biggest change was not his account number, but the man himself—he became stable.

While others nervously watched the charts, he read books; while others traded frantically, he waited. #Visa稳定币结算年化达70亿美元

One night, the market suddenly spiked. I called to ask if he took the trade. He said the signal wasn’t there, so he slept.

If you, too, keep spinning in the cycle of “seeing right but trading wrong,” maybe pause—the problem might not be judgment, but execution.

In this market, there are too many smart people and too few who can stick to discipline. And discipline, once practiced long enough, becomes a talisman.
