Vitalik: A single data source carries risks, suggesting that prediction markets adopt a multi-source verification mechanism.

ME News Message, April 23 (UTC+8), Vitalik Buterin posted on X platform, stating that with regard to the recent incident where a weather sensor at Paris airport was interfered with, affecting the results of a prediction market, a single data source poses clear risks. He pointed out that for such data-driven prediction markets, at least three independent data sources should be used, taking the median as a reference, to reduce the possibility of manipulation.
