ME News: In a speech on Tuesday, May 20 (UTC+8), Iranian military spokesman Mohammad Akraminia emphasized the army’s state of readiness for combat. He said the military has regarded the “ceasefire period” as a “wartime period,” using this opportunity to enhance its own combat capabilities. As for hostile forces, the spokesman said that Iran will never be besieged or defeated. He warned that if the enemy makes another foolish move and falls into the Jewish trap again, launching another act of aggression against Iran, the country will open new fronts against them through new means and methods. Meanwhile, he emphasized Iran’s control over the Strait of Hormuz and said the situation in this strategic waterway is not likely to return to how it was before.
