Bitwise CEO: Crypto industry projects that previously lacked strong, traditional performance metrics have underestimated Hyperliquid’s potential.

Golden Finance reported that on June 26, in response to Multicoin Capital's analysis and valuation report on Hyperliquid, Bitwise CEO Hunter Horsley tweeted that people underestimate Hyperliquid's potential. The crypto space has long been accustomed to projects lacking strong traditional metrics (such as user count, revenue/fees earned by token holders, etc.). Therefore, people's instinctive reaction is to measure their scale relative to larger market cap projects. For example, if ETH's market cap is X, then other tokens' market caps might be Y% of it. This way of thinking is outdated. The era of the CoinMarketCap leaderboard is over. We have now entered a new era. Platforms with real substance may be more valuable than people expect.
