ME News update — May 20 (UTC+8): According to an official announcement, digital asset market data and analytics provider Kaiko announced the acquisition of Cometh, a European decentralized finance infrastructure provider holding MiCA/CASP licenses, to integrate data, analytics, indexes, and on-chain infrastructure capabilities, together with Cometh’s smart contract engineering expertise. Kaiko said that after the transaction is completed, the company will form a unified infrastructure covering BMR-authorized indexes, MiCA-compliant products, oracles, and on-chain execution capabilities. Cometh previously obtained MiCA/CASP licenses from the French AMF and holds ISO 27001:2022 certification. (Source: ChainCatcher)
