Kaiko acquires Cometh to expand its MiCA-compliant on-chain data infrastructure capabilities.

ME News reports that on May 20 (UTC+8), according to an official announcement, digital asset market data and analytics provider Kaiko announced the acquisition of European decentralized finance infrastructure provider Cometh, which holds a MiCA/CASP license, to integrate data, analytics, indices, and on-chain infrastructure capabilities, combined with Cometh's smart contract engineering expertise. Kaiko stated that after the transaction, the company will form an integrated infrastructure covering BMR-authorized indices, MiCA-compliant products, oracles, and on-chain execution capabilities. Cometh had previously obtained the MiCA/CASP license from the French AMF and has ISO 27001:2022 certification. (Source: ChainCatcher)
