CFTC Sues Kentucky Over Prediction Market Oversight

The CFTC sued Kentucky after the state took legal action against Kalshi, Polymarket and others last week. The CFTC said Kentucky is the ninth state it has sued over prediction market oversight. The complaint also challenged a Kentucky bill that requires prediction markets to pay a 14.25% tax on transaction fees.
