Base postpones the Beryl mainnet upgrade to June 26 at 18:00 UTC to ensure the B20 Activation Registry is fully enabled. Developers must wait for the registry to go live before deploying B20 tokens, which is expected to take up to approximately 1 hour. Base states that the roughly two-hour mainnet block production interruption earlier is unrelated to this upgrade. Beryl will also shorten the waiting period for Base withdrawals to Ethereum from 7 days to 5 days and integrate Reth V2.
