$HYPE I caught an opportunity and went short, but I feel it's a bit strong. When Bitcoin dropped, it followed; now it's pulled back. I'm already prepared to get stopped out.

Looking back, I forgot to open a position when $AAVE dropped. The levels I marked were hit, but I didn't enter. I was staring at Bitcoin those few minutes.

There's a clear bottoming and upward trend now. I chased some spot positions. I dare not short, nor go long—if I go long, I'm afraid of a sudden major correction from altcoins that could liquidate my longs, so I bought spot instead.

Tonight, it's likely BlackRock selling and dumping. I observed that many altcoins either aren't dropping or can't drop further—it's clearly ETFs selling. If it were the crypto community selling, Bitcoin would drop, Ethereum would drop harder, and most altcoins would follow. If Bitcoin keeps dropping this Friday, I won't short anymore—I'll buy spot. Today's short was too smooth, dropping all the way in 30 minutes. Watching the profit in my account felt like picking up money. Other than technical judgment, it was luck. This kind of luck rarely happens, so the money I made makes me a bit uneasy. I need to rest a few days to recover my energy and recharge.

I tend to go against human nature. Maybe it's because of trading discipline: when things go unusually smoothly and I make money by luck, I become wary and respect the market. Just like after the ZEC short at 615, I basically never touched ZEC again.
