SharpLink Again Bulk-Buys 5,000 Ethereum Worth $7.85 Million
SharpLink again increases its Ethereum (ETH) holdings after about eight months without making any purchases. The company is known to have received a transfer of 5,000 ETH worth roughly $7.85 million from digital asset trading firm FalconX.
The transaction marks the resumption of SharpLink’s Ethereum accumulation after it previously had no ETH purchases recorded in recent months. This activity immediately drew the attention of market participants because it was carried out by one of the companies known to have exposure to digital assets.
On-chain data shows that the ETH was sent via FalconX, a platform widely used by institutional investors to execute large cryptocurrency transactions with less market impact.
This latest purchase also shows that institutional interest in Ethereum remains strong, especially amid the rising use of the Ethereum network for decentralized finance (DeFi) applications, asset tokenization, and stablecoins.
In recent months, Ethereum has once again come into the spotlight as more public companies and institutions begin to include ETH as part of their treasury strategies. This trend is seen as strengthening Ethereum’s position as one of the major digital assets besides Bitcoin.
