Wu has learned that USDC has announced the launch of its privacy feature on Starknet: STRK20, a privacy capability for ERC-20 tokens with built-in compliance. Users can make USDC private, transfer it, and then remove its privacy status, while hiding balances, amounts, and counterparty information on the public ledger. USDC still remains a USD-pegged stablecoin, and the new feature can be used for payments, treasury management, payroll, and Starknet on-chain financial activities.
