ME News message — On May 20 (UTC+8), ENI announced that it has completed a 1,000,000 USD strategic investment in AISIM, a Web3 communication and AI infrastructure project. This investment will be used to support AISIM’s infrastructure development in the Japanese market, expand its ecosystem, and advance cooperation related to ENI Blockchain.

AISIM is committed to building a new type of infrastructure connecting communications, AI, and the digital economy through global eSIMs, AI terminals, Web3 payments, and distributed node networks.

It is understood that AISIM will assist ENI in building blockchain nodes in Japan, enhancing ENI Blockchain’s node coverage, network stability, and ecosystem capacity in the Japanese market. At the same time, AISIM will also align with ENI and NTT Digital’s cooperation direction on node infrastructure and related technology solutions, promoting the deployment of enterprise-grade Web3 infrastructure in the Japanese market.

In the future, ENI and AISIM will carry out deeper cooperation around areas such as AI, communications, and Web3 payments, and jointly explore a new type of digital economy infrastructure characterized by “communication as an entry point, wallet as an account, AI as a service.” (Source: ENI)
