X Fully Integrates Agent: Official Tutorial Guides AI on How to Spam and Bump Replies on X
AIMPACT news, May 20 (UTC+8). According to Beating monitoring, the X developer team has released a complete setup guide, teaching users how to connect xurl skills to Hermes, the open-source terminal AI agent developed by Nous Research. After loading this skill, users can directly have the agent manage their X account with everyday spoken commands—one sentence to make it post, search, pull bookmarks, or manage lists.
To make this fully automated “tweeting loop” work end to end, users need to register an app on the X Developer Platform, obtain OAuth 2.0 credentials, and complete authorization locally. At the same time, the underlying inference requires models provided by xAI, and users must have an active SuperGrok subscription to call the Grok series models. xurl itself is an independent X API command-line client. When a user types “extract all bookmarks” in the terminal, Hermes translates that sentence into xurl commands in the background to run, then intercepts the raw JSON code output by the API, cleans it into a dry, well-sourced text with data and citations, and returns it to the user.
With the agent’s capabilities, it can also bundle actions in sequence: users can directly instruct it to first search for specific topics, produce a summary, and then draft a reply for posting—all of these actions can be completed in one conversation. (Source: BlockBeats)
