Base said it has recovered and is syncing, is investigating the root cause, and recommends that ecosystem node operators restart Base nodes to restore synchronization. An anomaly occurred at 16:03; by 16:52 the issue had been identified and repairs were initiated, and transaction processing was temporarily halted. The reason for the invalid blocks has not been disclosed, nor has it been confirmed whether it was a software or consensus fault. The network also experienced an outage in August 2025.
