AIMPACT News, May 20 (UTC+8), according to Beating monitoring, the SlowMist security team disclosed that the latest leak on a cybercrime forum suggests attackers may have used Anthropic's security AI model "Mythos" to precisely breach GitHub's internal defenses. Among the approximately 4,000 internal GitHub code repositories stolen were Copilot source code, CodeQL algorithms, Actions runtime, and billing system code. The SlowMist team warns that if hackers deeply analyze this code, it could have subsequent security implications for the open-source community. The reason is simple: these systems underpin the core workflows of a large number of developers. (Source: BlockBeats)
