CoinWorld News: Pi Network plans to unlock approximately 1.21 billion tokens in 2026, releasing about 6.5 million tokens per day on average, entering a market that is already near the token's historical low. To maintain the price, the market needs sufficient demand to absorb this new supply. Currently, Pi tokens are trading between $0.12 and $0.14, down over 90% from their peak in early 2025. The unlocked tokens will continue to exert pressure on the market, especially in the absence of strong demand. The Pi Network community has built a large user base over the past few years, but how to convert these users into actual market demand remains a challenge.

6.5 million coins per day, the market has to absorb $800k daily, which is tough.

A price of $0.12, and we don't even know the unlock cost—miners are in tears.

The community is large but full of airdrop farmers; the real demand is questionable.
