1. Extremely controlling, always believing they are right, demanding children to obey their arrangements.
2. Extremely face-conscious/snobbish, despising the poor and currying favor with the rich. They boast when their children are successful and are disappointed when they are weak.
My parents are exactly like this:
When I was a student and got good grades, I was the pride of my parents, and they would boast about me to everyone.
Now that I'm in a mess and don't listen to their life plans, they are very disappointed in me, and I feel like their love has diminished a lot. 😭
