Thailand SEC plans to revise derivatives business licensing rules and open applications related to digital assets.

ME News, April 23 (UTC+8): Thailand's Securities and Exchange Commission has released a consultation paper proposing amendments to derivatives business licensing rules, allowing digital asset companies to apply for derivatives trading business with digital assets as the underlying without setting up new companies, and allowing investors to use related contracts for risk management. At the same time, it plans to strengthen the financial and regulatory standards of exchanges and clearing houses, and requires the establishment of conflict-of-interest prevention mechanisms.
